Navigating music and musicians for your wedding or special event can be a daunting undertaking. I’d love to hear your vision and help you eliminate any stress or concern over this area.  If you’re wondering if we could work well together, here’s a little bit about me:

I wear many hats including husband, daddy, drummer, builder of things, and singer.  My family and I are putting roots down in Asheville, NC.  We love the mountains, the people, the weather, and I love having a small role the musical landscape.

Charleston, SC is where I call home.  My background is in singing and playing guitar in churches, for weddings, and working as a backing singer for recording projects.  I transitioned into drumming full-time and put vocals on the back burner.  I spent a lot of time on the road with some of my best friends and favorite musicians and loved every minute.  There was a continuing itch to get back to doing more vocal work throughout those years, and although I still work as a drummer, relocating to Asheville has afforded me the time to invest in singing and playing music behind a guitar.

My wedding was one of the best nights of my life, so I can truly understand how much your day means to you.  I put a high priority on you and your event and will be as much in the foreground or background as you prefer.  I naturally relate to singer songwriters like James Taylor, Neil Young and Jackson Browne, but interpret the stylings and musical sensibilities of the bands Keane, Travis, Sleeping At Last, Death Cab for Cutie or Snow Patrol.  If a duo or trio is appropriate, I have an endless list of close friends and accomplished musicians who I ask to join from time to time.  My artist and song lists are just a starting point of standards and favorites.  I typically welcome any and all requests and build in more than enough time to learn songs thoroughly if they aren’t familiar already.

Please feel free to say hey through the contact page and tell me a little bit about you and your plans.  Thanks for your time and considering me to be a part of your wedding or event!
